The 24th Hong Kong International Literary Festival and the 14th Hong Kong Young Readers Festival

The project aims to promote reading, creative writing and English literacy. As one of the largest literary events in Hong Kong and the region, the Hong Kong International Literary Festival will present the literary works from both prominent and emerging writers in English. Readers and writers will meet in seminars, literary gatherings, book launches as well as signings, lectures, school workshops, etc.
As for the Hong Kong Young Readers Festival, overseas and local authors / illustrators will deliver in-school interactive workshops and talks, which serve to promote the importance of literature, improve participants’ English language skills, stimulate their creativity and inspire them to be or become readers and writers.
