With a view to promoting young children’s Chinese and English language development, the SCOLAR Early Childhood Language Team (SEL Team) of the Standing Committee on Language Education and Research (SCOLAR) implemented the "Scheme on Early Language and Literacy Development in Chinese and English Language of Young Children" from the 2015/16 to 2024/25 school years. Apart from providing professional development programmes for kindergarten principals, curriculum leaders and teachers, the SEL Team also worked in close collaboration with local kindergartens on researching and developing effective teaching strategies that promote young children's Chinese and English language development.
This resource station aims to provide local kindergartens with learning and teaching resources for promoting young children’s Chinese and English language development.
