International Summit on the Use of AI in Learning and Teaching Languages and Other Subjects & Post-Summit Workshop Series (AIinLT)
SCOLAR and the Education Bureau, in collaboration with Hong Kong Education City and The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, are hosting the International Summit on the Use of AI in Learning and Teaching Languages and Other Subjects & Post-Summit Workshop Series (AIinLT) from 4 to 7 July 2025 (Friday to Monday). This event will provide a practical forum for teachers, researchers, and others in the education sector to gather, learn, and share insights regarding the use of AI in the broad field of education – from language education to arts, mathematics, history and beyond.
In the Summit on 4-5 July, educational practitioners from primary, secondary and tertiary educational contexts and from around the world will present and demonstrate how AI can facilitate teaching and learning in the classroom. In the Post-Summit Workshop Series on 6-7 July, educators will engage in hands-on practice to learn how AI can be used effectively in various educational contexts. The event will also feature a technical provider showcase, introducing educators and learners to technical and digital tools that can enhance learning.
The Summit will feature presentations and teaching demonstrations in Cantonese, Putonghua and English and is free for both attendees and presenters.
