Logistics controller:Good morning. Apex Logistics, this is Alan speaking. How can I help you?
Client:Hi, Alan. This is Jane Brown calling from the Link Electronics. We were supposed to receive our consignment this morning but we still haven't received it yet. It's noon already. I want to know what has happened.
Logistics controller:I'm sorry, Ms Brown. May I have your shipment number?
Client:It's TBC-459/123.
Logistics controller:Let me repeat that, TBC-459/123. Is that correct?
Client:Yes.
Logistics controller:Just a moment, please. Let me check. Your consignment’s on its way to your warehouse.
Client:On the way, so when am I supposed to receive it? I need it urgently. The trade fair starts tomorrow.
Logistics controller:I'm really sorry about that. My colleagues reported that there was a serious traffic accident on the highway and they were stuck in the traffic jam for more than 2 hours.
Client:So when will they arrive?
Logistics controller:They’re now at the Lok Ma Chau Boundary Control Point for customs clearance. They will arrive before 2 p.m.
Client:All right, so I'll wait for 2 more hours.
Logistics controller:Again I'm sorry for the inconvenience caused, Ms Brown.

物流管理員:我真的很抱歉。我的同事報告高速公路上發生了嚴重的交通事故,他們已經塞車超過2小時。
客戶:那麼他們甚麼時候到達呢?
物流管理員:他們現正在落馬洲邊境管制站進行海關檢查,會在下午2時前到達。
客戶:好吧,那我再多等候2小時。
