Sales representative:Tea in Life, Matthew speaking.
Customer:Hi. This is Yoko. We met at the Trade Show last week.
Sales representative:Yoko…oh, yeah! You’re from Konichiwa Food Trading.
Customer:Yes. I'm going to order some herbal tea. Do you ship tea to Tokyo?
Sales representative:Yes, we do. We have 3 main lines of herbal tea: ginseng, citrus and chrysanthemum. They’re all produced on our tea farm in Sichuan and packaged in Guangdong. Which one would you like?
Customer:Um…we've got ginseng tea from our Korean supplier already, so I’d prefer citrus tea and chrysanthemum tea.
Sales representative:No problem. Would you like them in envelope tea bags, zip lock pouches or tin containers?
Customer:Um…our customers are mostly busy working class and their biggest concern’s convenience, so I'd say envelope tea bags will do.
Sales representative:Sure. How many tea bags would you like in a box? We offer 20 in a box and 50 in a box.
Customer:20 in a box, please. If our trial order is 500 boxes for each tea, how much would that be?
Sales representative:Let me confirm your order. 500 boxes of citrus tea and 500 boxes of chrysanthemum tea in envelope tea bags. 20 teabags in a box for both. Is that correct?
Customer:Yes. That's right.
Sales representative:Hm, that would be HK$20,000.
Customer:HK$20,000 excluding the freight cost. Okay.
Sales representative:Would you like to arrange your own freight forwarder or would you like us to arrange one for you?
Customer:We have our own freight forwarder.
Sales representative:No problem. We require full payment for the first order. How would you like to pay? We accept cheques and direct deposit.
Customer:By cheque, please, and if you could let me know…
