Supplier:Mode Fashion, Jan Chan’s speaking.
Buyer:Hello, Jan. This is Amy again.
Supplier:Oh! Hi, Amy. How can I help?
Buyer:Well, I'm calling because there's something wrong with another consignment, order number 2678.
Supplier:Oh! I'm sorry to hear that. May I know what exactly the problem is?
Buyer:Well, we have placed an order for 2,000 bell bottom jeans, but what we received are straight-cut ones, all of them.
Supplier:Oh! I'm terribly sorry about that, Amy. I remember telling our delivery team to take good care of the order. There must've been a mix-up.
Buyer:Well, this is most inconvenient, Jan. I'm afraid you'll have to send us a replacement right away. You know, we have a very tight deadline to meet. We've already promised our customers that they'll receive the jeans by Monday.
Supplier:I'm very sorry, Amy. I'll personally get on to the Delivery Unit immediately and make sure you get the jeans by noon tomorrow. I'll make it the top priority and I'll see to it personally.
Buyer:Well, I appreciate that Jan, but I think I'll have to ask you to waive the delivery fee as well. I mean you can't expect us to pay the fee after all the inconvenience we've been through, can you?
Supplier:Of course, Amy. We will waive the delivery fee off the invoice.
Buyer:I appreciate that.
Supplier:It's the least I can do. I can’t apologise enough for the mix-up, Amy.
Buyer:It's alright. I just really hope that it won't happen again.
Supplier:No, it won’t. My apologies again.
Buyer:That’s okay now. Bye, Jan.

供货商:Amy,我非常抱歉。我会马上向送货的部门跟进,以及确保你会在明天中午收到牛仔裤。我会优先处理你的订单,并会亲自跟进。
采购员:感谢你,Jan,但我认为我需要向你要求免除运费。你不能要求我们在发生这种不便的事情后还要付运费,对吗?
供货商:当然,Amy。运费会在账单上扣除。
采购员:谢谢。
