Use of AI Summit (AIinLT)

Introduction

SCOLAR and the Education Bureau, in collaboration with Hong Kong Education City and The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, are hosting the International Summit on the Use of AI in Learning and Teaching Languages and Other Subjects & Post-Summit Workshop Series (AIinLT) from 4 to 7 July 2025 (Friday to Monday) at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

This event will provide a practical forum for teachers, researchers, and others in the education sector to gather, learn, and share insights regarding the use of AI in the broad field of education – from language education to arts, mathematics, history and beyond.

In the Summit on 4-5 July, educational practitioners from primary, secondary and tertiary educational contexts and from around the world will present and demonstrate how AI can facilitate teaching and learning in the classroom. In the Post-Summit Workshop Series on 6-7 July, educators will engage in hands-on practice to learn how AI can be used effectively in various educational contexts.

The Post-Summit Workshop Series will also feature a technology showcase on the spot, at which technology companies will further introduce educators and learners alike to many of the technical and digital tools that can be used to enhance learning.
