The competition provides a cross-disciplinary platform for students to learn and create stop motion animation, which requires a combination of skills and knowledge from language learning, technology to art. It aims to improve students’ language ability through script writing, as well as strengthen their problem-solving skills through scientific inquiry and artistic creation. Participating students will have the chance to learn about animation creation and produce their own stop motion animation with a theme relating to “panda economy”. Workshops will be organised for students and teachers to enhance their understanding of the relationship between animation creation, language learning, panda conservation and creative problem-solving.
