The 22th Hong Kong International Literary Festival and the 12th Hong Kong International Young Readers Festival
The project aims to promote reading, creative writing and English literacy. The festivals will present the literary works from both prominent and emerging writers in English. Readers and writers will meet in literary gatherings, book launches as well as signings, lectures, workshops, debates and readings. Overseas and local authors / illustrators will also deliver in-school interactive workshops and talks, which serve to promote the importance of literature, improve participants’ English language skills, stimulate their creativity and inspire them to become readers and writers.
