Vocational English Programme Grant (2018)

The Vocational English Programme Grant aims to provide funding for senior secondary students who are interested in pursuing vocational and professional education and training or prepared to join the workforce to enrol in vocational English courses. These students can then enhance their English proficiency and have the opportunity to gain relevant recognition for further studies and employment. The vocational English courses, offered by three designated post-secondary institutions, are recognised under the Qualifications Framework. Schools which have successfully applied for the funding can provide subsidies for Secondary 4 and Secondary 5 students to enrol in a vocational English course provided by any one of the three designated post-secondary institutions in the 2018/19 school year.
