The vision of SCOLAR is to enable the people of Hong Kong, in particular, students and the workforce, to be bi-literate and tri-lingual. To realise the above vision, among various programmes, SCOLAR implements the English Alliance, which aims at arousing primary and secondary students’ interest in English language learning; and improving their English language exposure and use through a wide range of English language activities.

“English Alliance 2023/24 and 2024/25” is now open for application. Interested organisations shall submit applications to the SCOLAR Secretariat by 12:00 noon on 3 February, 2023. For details, please refer to the below documents:

Briefing Session

Interested organisations are invited to attend an online briefing session to learn more about the guide to proponents. Details of the online briefing session are as follows –

Submission of Application

Application documents (both hard and soft copies) should be submitted by 12:00 noon on 3 February 2023 to:
